NATURAL PEACE

“It’s your life; you don’t need someone’s permission to live the life you want.  Be brave to live from your heart.”—Roy T. Bennett

——

“I want to write stories,” he spoke.

“Then do,” she answered level, listening, accepting and encouraging without excess.  “It’s your life, your passion.  Right now, you are its limitation.”  She smiled, light of compassion and soft amusement in her eyes; amusement that he should force weight upon what was meant for levity—passion and love for one’s purpose.  “Write your stories,” she repeated.  “Don’t overthink it.  Enjoy what you love—that’s why the love for it is there.  Enjoy your life.  Enjoy the gifts and blessings you are given.  Don’t make it harder than it is.

Whether they matter to world or one, write your stories.  Live what you love.”

Speaking, amusement and smile-expression gathered greater into north as, of message, she resolved to will and dare the same.

Sun shone high in ceiling of blue, each warmed in touch of the light.  Sky carried songs of birds around and in immersion, they shared a natural peace.
