HORIZONS

“The same truth is evident among all people, at all times, and in all situations: the happiest people are those who cherish the mystery of relationships.”—Matthew Kelly, The Seven Levels of Intimacy

“What do you think of boundaries?”

“I don’t,” she answered with smile.  “If meant to reach, they will be found.  Why worry before then?  Does that not steal from adventure in discovery?

And when found, do they not contain their own definitive beauty: like mountains you’ll never cross, or coast where ocean frames the shore?

There’s plenty I don’t know, and plenty I won’t fret to learn.  Isn’t life the lesson?  If meant to know, will life not teach us in its own time?

Live and see.  Why overthink it?  Life is better left with mysteries,” she spoke, still smiling, gazing on plain bound only by horizons.
