“Don’t spend too much time explaining yourself,” spoke the old man to the young. “If people can’t see, words won’t help, and they are only a detraction from your efforts. If you achieve what you believe can be, your effects will prove purpose far more than words today.
If you focus too much on explaining today to those who cannot see, they will only tell you that what you believe cannot be. They will provide every reason they can think of as to why they are right and you are wrong. After, maybe you’ll believe them. That doesn’t mean they’re right.
If you believe in something: act. Work for it. Manifest, and should it come to be, everyone who would tell you today why it cannot, and will never, be will speak after as to how it could be no other way.
Save your words. Give your effort to the vision. That is what you want, not words today that lend nothing to the shaping of tomorrow.”
The young man listened.
His Dream, its Hope—Ideal—was still alive, and for this he would strive. Fate was in his favor.
