EYES, MINDS, AND WORLDS

I like believing what I share might add a positive to someone’s day, might show someone that they’re special, raise their spirit in some small way.  I like beginning my mornings seeking to create something kind, a ray of light because I believe—a beginning like that—can illuminate the rest of a day.  Maybe I’m wrong, but believing this gives light to mine.

It feels good to express kindness and affinity for another even if that person remains mostly a stranger.  It’s something I rarely did in past and try, now, to do more every day.  My thoughts were once mostly self-absorptions but have grown more full in wonderings and wishing well for others.  I think good.  I wish good, and I want these to be known by those for whom my feelings rise.

I like to share.  I want to share.  I believe there is a mutual reward when affinities and positive thoughts are sincerely expressed.  Sometimes sharing too can be more for the giver than for the one that receives.  Maybe that’s what this is.  I don’t know. I know only what it means to me.  Maybe that’s selfish, or maybe it’s an aspect of human nature expressed—a desire to be known and noticed.

Little sights change eyes.  Little thoughts change minds.  Little acts change worlds.  I believe kindness, positivity, goodwill, and love—sincerely expressed—can change all three.
