CORONA

Beneath kaleidoscope-corona, she revealed herself as well; beautiful, fair, and lovely in removal of the veil: bright porcelain-vibrance in ochre-freckled cast over wonder of woman’s form; areole hue striking in contrast and swelled into focused centers shocked in cool of new-air touch then cover of warmth in taking lips—spirit-response to body’s sense—becoming greater one in moment-making; embrace of he to her and she to him under wash and warmth of spectral light; heave and sigh and swell with every living breath then hollowing of exhalation through fill of other way; his hands in trace, high to low, then holding strong under neck of hourglass-frame spreading back to wide; her draw of his face back high to hers in meet and keep of lasting kiss through deeper feel in rhythm to wind and world and beating hearts abandoned to the openness.

Then lying in the after, a discernment in the gift: perhaps miracles are true—possible, lived, and witnessed—if embraced and allowed to be: undenying to the wonders, passions, and awes revealed in abandonment to openness, wholly present—body, mind, and spirit—in moment as it lives.
