There was a time in life when all I saw in me was darkness. I damned myself beyond deserving and, in doing, denied and impaired much good I was able, still, to live.
Such time is past, and I better see now—in this human condition—we all have our shadow-points as well as illuminations.
Maybe it is our shadows that return us to seeking light; and, too, our sins toward God. What purpose is a compassionate, merciful, and loving God to a perfect being that needs neither of the first and second and, therefore, has no cognizance of the last?
Maybe that is the purpose of our imbued imperfections, shadows: to return ourselves back to seeking of a Better and a Light—GOD—in all His compassion, grace, and mercy.
