RESONANT SOULS

“How do you find a resonant soul?” he asked.

“Keep sharing,” she replied.  “Keep showing what lights you up.  A soul that makes no waves leaves nothing to be found.  Make your waves.

Keep giving.  Maybe what you share will never mean a thing to most, but to the ones it does, it will mean more than you will know.

If something’s in you and you want it found, put it out there.  If it goes unnoticed or is unwanted, you are no worse than as you began….but if it’s found, when you’re noticed and seen for what you purposefully put into the world: everything can change.  They’re there…maybe nearer than you think.”

A light caught in her eyes accentuating the richness and depth of their center-colored souls.  A wind blew catching the ends of her hair, blowing them loose and free before her face; and he smiled in the lightness of the wind, the kindness of her words, and the simple beauty of her being.

The wind strengthened, as did his spirit, and they smiled together in the low-gold light of ending day speaking little and sensing much.
