KEEP FLOATING

I read a poem yesterday about someone feeling like they were drowning, losing control and being pulled under the surface of the sea.  It made me think back on my own life moments when I felt like I was “losing it.”

Often, more so than actual conditions, it’s the panic that does us in.  We forget the advantages we still have and the resiliency we hold—if we take a breath and reset instead of panicking in haste.

That’s what this one is about.  Even when it feels like we’re drowning in the sea of life—we still float.  We are lighter than the water around us if we relax and allow ourselves to rise.  We’ll make it through whatever troubles we perceive.
