Skin perspired in strength of the love: close-held embrace, bodies’ fit; in last and build in force of the give, and too of take, in action of the make; in near and keep of bodies to hearth and kindled fire.
Beginning as dew, building to beads slow running over skin; she wiped his brow and brushed as well loose strands of fallen hair back and over head in hand and fingers’ run into keeping hold behind. Her stomach tensioned, face and upper body’s curl and rise in seeking for kiss’ meet; lips’ find and hold, steady and strong, as low body pulsed—heating, melting, softening until awe-tremor; sense-wave of the state, pulse in the free, heat-stay of skin in cover of meet, hold, and open face to fire’s flame.
Then fall to sober from spirit-rush; return from the transcendence; brows again in bead and dew of love and fire’s heat; intimate in after-aware, remain in match and hold of the oneness; perspire cleared away in light-fingered trace of one to other’s brow; delicate of the touch, closed eyes and effect to smile; eyes open find, eye to eye, still in their warmth, still in their love, in heat of flesh to flesh and fire-hearth though more aware to room’s surrounding cool.
Then into gentler kisses, tongue-spoken songs—one spirit into other—dreamlike, but true, as neither lessened hold.
