HAZE

               Yellow-gray shone in haze and signed encroach of next-wave storm in western sky.  Through clarity of window view, they smiled on haze-glow portending of to come when—like rain in sudden strike and sweep heavy from the sky—they too would become into passion of a storm: awe and overwhelming in sudden, spirited expression—released—in strong-collide of fronts.

               She blushed.  He smiled.  Both waited for the storm, tension heavy like the haze.
