READY

One last time, before change’s arrive, they made love in the high vault room.  Symbol-sign of prairie oak, black image, framed upon wall of white.

Resting on floor—gentle—he guided her in recline, weight of her body lightened in posture and the lie.  Upward stare to ceiling above, shone moon-roof’s window-cast of cross in pane illumed in symbol over body’s lie beneath; his gentle of touch, like feather to, he raised her warmth and dew; wind of his breath, light to neck; sense-equal of light-pass kiss; search of her hand, balance in hold, steadied to his strength as she wavered to his gentler ways.

Slow of her breath, swell and empty of each release; body awakened, alive, and whole stirred in the life of moment and more—last time of such a love.

Gentle and slow of their wanting to last, then hike of her knee, widened further to side, her hands to his hips in calling above; cross of the sun upon both them then in sacredness of their one; smooth of his give, wood floor’s beneath; body to body, her strong hold in draw; one in their love in the high vault room blessed in light-shined sign.

When they reached, waver again.  After, there was only love.

Ready for the moment, ready for the change: new chapter, new life, soul’s expansion in miracle of Love’s Creation.
