RESTLESS MIND

Anna felt his heartbeat’s change to strong in sudden restless of her mind, the way her own began in beat, nerves’ tremble under skin; sudden loss in aware and focus to anything but him.

She listened to his breathing’s change—slow, heavy, and deep—and felt her own in matched response before their ever touch; raise of her nipples under linen cover, line of her tan, pale of her breasts, tone of areolas’ hue hinting through shirt cover’s thin; presence of him across in room, risen and showing too—delirium of wait and want for his take.

She wanted his hands.  She wanted his touch, under linen, over open breasts.  She wanted his kiss.  She wanted his tongue, low-fall find and split of touch in deep of kiss’ keep, her body shifted in prepare of move; and rest—she wanted of him too.

Delirium’s whorl, heart beating strong, Anna thought of nothing else.
