BECOMING

“You weren’t given a vision to chase.  You were given a vision to become.”

_____

They began their day in renewal of will, resolve to do the effort and the work onward into becoming.

“To Becoming,” they toasted with imaginary air glasses and true smiles and hope in override and dispirit of a gray and wintered dawn and onset of snow and storm.

Weather and sky cried to stop, but somewhere—behind and within—sun was there, shining, encouraging, and beckoning life and good to rise, become, even though, then they couldn’t see.

Sometimes it was that way: something you couldn’t see but knew was there encouraging you on—in faith.

               Faith, they lived.

Effort, they gave, willing to do the work—onward into Becoming.

Still, minds drifted as they do and always will.  Feels rose, and from these—more.

They lived and embraced too.  All were part and experience to becoming.

They accepted all: the pauses, the stills, mis and redirections.  It was a journey, not an end, and though some days it didn’t seem: they were gaining to their aim.

To become the Vision and God-Inspiration that was them.
