LIGHTENED HEARTS

In naked and free, open space of the room, she smiled in look to him; the sight of him there, unhidden in full, meet-return of his amorous eyes.

She fluttered to the sight, sudden of a feel, as she rolled to pose that widened and brightened his eyes, raising to greater glow.

Heat and slowing and heavying of her heart, witness to his own pulse show, as both’s slowed and heavied the more.

Stopping of time, weight of the still; seeing, both holding place.

Then break of the still, his movement to meet; her rolled to face, held risen to place, swoon in the given driven.

Rhythmic of match, whole soul and the same in making of their love; gentle sounds, gentle feels that lightened heavy hearts in deep-pulse slow into fluttering and free; loss of the rhythm, on floor and rug, still love-one into sighs and spirit-mirth.
