“Brothers and sisters: There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit. To one is given through the Spirit the expression of wisdom; to another, the expression of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit; to another, mighty deeds; to another, prophecy; to another, discernment of spirits; to another, varieties of tongues; to another, interpretation of the tongues. But one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing them individually to each person as he wishes.”—1 Corinthians 12: 4-11
It is one of my favorite readings.
We all are filled with gifts and blessings of the Spirit. Each unique in form for service toward workings of a Greater Mystery.
Our gifts are not meant to be the same. They, and we, are but piece to a Greater Whole. We share our own, receive blessings by others sharing same. It is part to God’s design and reason of our need for interconnection and gathered fellowship.
What is it God’s placed in you to share and give away?
We don’t have to understand. Like all the rest of God and Love and living The Way: all’s an act of Faith.
There is Purpose—even when we don’t see.
Live the Faith. Share your Gift. Don’t hide and live afraid, make shame of what is made as blessing.
Live the Faith. Share your Gift. Give witness to those of others. Many gifts, many souls, all adding and building into compose of Same-One Spirit.
