I believe in mystics. I pray often for their intercessions. I believe in mystery. I believe in awe; and I am grateful to not have every answer. What would life be, faith mean, if we had no hope in unknowns and no anticipation of revelations?
Maybe I sell my mind short; or maybe I open it further to what is limited in decided “knowing.”
I want more than the modern present. I want more than the modern culture. One thing the mystics got right: faith and wonder holds ever open gateway into eternals.
